Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in Wetherby is hiring an experienced Scrub Nurse to join our bank team at Wetherby Eye Hospital. The role offers pay up to £32 per hour, depending on experience, with flexibility to cover shifts in York and Bradford.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care in theatre settings. The successful candidate will be a Registered General Nurse or ODP with NMC/ODP registration and at least one year

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or ODP with current NMC/ODP registration.
• Minimum one year of theatre experience.
• Experience in private and operating settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of patient care in ophthalmic theatre settings.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver diagnostics and perioperative care.
• Support pre- and post-operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

The Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on quality patient care, you will provide the highest standards of care to our patients. You’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

What You’ll Need

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
