Optegra Bradford Eye Clinic is seeking an experienced scrub nurse to join our dynamic team. This zero-hour contract offers flexible shifts with a competitive pay rate up to £32 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package and funded training opportunities. You may also cover shifts at York and Bowcliffe Hall Clinics.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or ODP with current registration.
• NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum one year theatre experience.
• Knowledge of private and theatre settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of care to ophthalmic patients within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assist in diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues and optometrists.
• Deliver treatment in private and theatre settings.

The Role
As part of a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on quality patient care, you will provide the highest standards of care to our patients. You'll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.
What You’ll Need

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
