Bank Healthcare Assistant | Gatwick Park Hospital | Horley, West Sussex| Bank Flexible working

Spire Gatwick Park at looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the bank within outpatients. You are looking for an experienced HCA within Outpatients or acute surgical wards looking or flexible shifts.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Assisting the outpatient team in the provision of exemplary patient care
  • Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person
  • Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies
Who we're looking for
  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
  • Experience ideally within OPD, will consider acute surgical ward or POA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the following : ECGs, taking blood / blood pressures and patient observations

Working Hours : Flexible shifts early 8-4, late 1-8 and Saturday 8-2 (we cannot guarantee how many shifts per week will be available) Opening times are 0730-2030.

Shifts may vary on 7.5 hour shifts to long days if preferred.
