Job description

Role: Locum Pharmacist
Banding: Band 8a
Location: Coventry
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Minimum of 3 months, with potential extension to 6-12 months depending on individual performance and workload requirements.
Hours: Full-time, (Monday to Friday, 09:00AM – 17:30PM)
Rate: £28 – £39 per hour

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7/8a Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have either aseptic experience or chemotherapy screening (verification) experience. This role requires a professional who is GPhC registered and has prior NHS experience, which is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

You will perform aseptic preparation or chemotherapy screening (verification). You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications:
    • Relevant Pharmacy qualification.
    • Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
    • Experience in aseptic preparation or chemotherapy screening (verification)
    • Prior NHS experience is desirable
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
