Overview

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) is seeking an experienced Capital Projects Manager in Birmingham to lead the management and delivery of capital and other construction projects for the Trust and other clients. BCHC operates across a broad portfolio of healthcare estates throughout the Midlands and specialises in the development of community healthcare property.

Responsibilities
  • Professional responsibility for the complete project management of minor capital and other projects from inception to completion.
  • Assist in space utilisation projects to reduce estate size and maximise utilisation.
  • Participate in mobilisations for new contracts and support capital programmes as needed.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design, programming, financial management and property inspections.
  • Supervise and coordinate external consultants, contractors and site inspectors.
  • Communicate with and provide expert professional advice to key stakeholders about scheme briefs, budgets, timescales and logistics.
  • Ensure projects are procured to appropriate professional, technical and quality standards and maintain a patient focus.
