Location: Norwich
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until end of March
Working Hours: Mondays and Thursdays
Pay Rate: £25.00 – £26.00

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 Locum General Theatre Radiographer to join a busy healthcare team in Norwich. This temporary role is ideal for a professional looking for flexible working hours while contributing to high-quality patient care in a theatre setting. Key Responsibilities:

As a Theatre Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to support surgical teams in a theatre environment. You will operate mobile X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment during procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety. The role requires maintaining effective communication with surgeons, anesthetists, and theatre staff to facilitate seamless workflow, adhering to strict infection control and radiation protection protocols, and accurately documenting and reporting imaging results in line with hospital standards.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is essential.
  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 12 months of recent theatre radiography experience.
  • Strong knowledge of theatre imaging techniques, including mobile and fluoroscopy procedures.
  • Understanding of radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with surgical staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
