Are you a passionate and motivated physiotherapist looking for a new challenge within the NHS? Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to join an innovative and collaborative MSK service delivering high-quality care across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

This unique role offers rotations across key healthcare partners including:

  • Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH)
  • Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH)
  • Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT)

You'll gain a broad foundation in various clinical settings while growing your skills and exploring potential career paths in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings
  • Carry out thorough assessments, treatments, and evaluations of patient care plans
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) to ensure patient-centred care
  • Supervise physiotherapy assistants and help support student training
  • Engage in continuous professional development and clinical audits
  • Practice autonomously while adhering to evidence-based standards and clinical governance
Qualifications & Requirements

Essential:

  • BSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience across a wide range of placements including MSK, neuro, respiratory, and orthopaedics
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, NHS guidelines, and outcome measures
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Desirable:

  • Prior NHS experience
  • Participation in audits and patient care improvement initiatives
  • Special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
  • Student supervision experience
Visa Sponsorship Eligibility

This role qualifies for the Health and Care Worker Visa under the UK’s Skilled Worker route. You must meet the following:

  • Hold the required physiotherapy qualification and HCPC registration
  • Meet the NHS national pay scale requirements (minimum salary threshold of £23,200 or more)
  • Be eligible for UK professional registration
