UniHomes is seeking an experienced Billing & Collections Manager in Sheffield for a fifteen-month fixed-term contract. You will manage complex B2C monthly subscription billing, lead process improvements, and drive automation while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead a small team, own end-to-end billing and collections, and collaborate with Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and CRM to optimise cash flow and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a similar role (Credit Control/AR/Revenue & Collections).
• Strong understanding of B2C billing, especially subscriptions.
• Knowledge of consumer credit regulations and compliance.
• Experience improving processes, automation or system enhancements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop team members.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of billing and collections, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collections.
• Lead and develop two Billing & Collections Assistants with coaching and performance management.
• Monitor debt collection performance and improve cash flow while minimising bad debt.
• Manage collections through GoCardless and Stripe; reconcile and resolve failed payments.
• Maintain customer and property records in Sage Intacct and ensure cash receipts are processed correctly.
• Produce revenue, cost centre, and KPI reporting to support decision making.
