Job summary

Confidential is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join the busy finance team in Redhill on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will manage a B2B customer ledger, drive cash collection, resolve queries, and support monthly targets in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–3 years in credit control, strong Excel and numerical skills, and excellent communication with customers and internal colleagues. A meticulous, calm approach under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in a Credit Control position.
• Experience in a high-volume environment, ideally B2B.
• Proven track record of collecting outstanding debt and achieving targets.
• Strong Excel skills and numerical/analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for managing conversations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organise workload under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage a ledger of B2B customer accounts.
• Proactively chase outstanding debt by telephone.
• Work towards team cash collection targets and reduce aged debt (90+ days focus).
• Investigate and resolve customer queries to meet SLAs.
• Review and assess customer credit limits when required.
• Maintain records and ensure daily credit control processes are completed.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prioritise workload to maximise collections and meet deadlines.
