Qualifications

• Experience selling to business customers and managing relationships.
• Ability to identify sales leads and convert them into opportunities.
• Confidence in discussing customer needs and presenting suitable solutions.
• Experience managing quotations, enquiries and follow-up activity.
• Ability to keep accurate sales records and manage a varied workload.
• Clear communication with customers and internal colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with business customers to encourage repeat trade.
• Identify and contact prospective customers to create new sales opportunities.
• Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to agreed orders.
• Understand customer needs and present suitable products or services clearly.
• Prepare sales quotations and follow up enquiries in a timely way.
• Keep accurate records of customer conversations, enquiries and sales activity.
• Work with colleagues to ensure customer orders and requirements are communicated clearly.
• Monitor sales activity and provide clear updates on progress against agreed targets.
