Job summary

Smiths News, the UK's largest newspaper and magazine wholesaler, is looking to reinforce its Customer Experience team. The role focuses on supporting campaigns to grow the business, retain customers and handle dissatisfaction to improve retention.

You will report to the Onshore Solutions Design & Delivery Manager and contribute to retention-led growth in the Recycle vertical, with ample opportunities for development and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Organised individual with structured work approach and good listening/communication skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with ability to hit targets related to production, quality, sales conversion and retention.
• Proven B2B telesales and retention skills with strong conversion rates in a fast-paced environment.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Ability to engage with customers and build rapport to promote new and existing services.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support campaigns to grow the business and drive retention of customers.
• Assist in managing customer dissatisfaction and identify ways to retain customers.
• Collaborate with the Onshore Solutions Design & Delivery Manager within the Customer Experience Team.
