Job summary

S Knights Recruitment is seeking an Outbound Sales Executive for Apprenticeships in Redditch, Worcestershire. The role is office-based initially with hybrid options after induction and probation, offering £25,000–£28,000 per year.

You’ll generate new business by calling employers, promoting apprenticeship programmes and qualifying leads for the Business Development team. Training and progression are provided within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in outbound sales, telesales, B2B sales, lead generation or business development.
• Experience making outbound calls and generating new opportunities.
• Experience working towards measurable sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills and rapport with business contacts.
• Positive, motivated and target-driven with resilience.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage follow-ups.
• Good IT skills and confidence using CRM and MS Office.
• Experience in apprenticeships/education or skills sector advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective, existing and lapsed business clients.
• Introduce apprenticeship programmes to employers and create interest in training opportunities.
• Engage with decision-makers to understand requirements and identify opportunities.
• Qualify leads and provide accurate information for follow-up.
• Follow up leads from marketing campaigns and wider sales activity.
• Re-engage previous clients to uncover new opportunities and growth.
• Maintain CRM records of conversations and opportunities.
• Achieve call, sales and KPI targets and support team objectives.
• Support outbound campaigns and stay updated on funding and sector developments.
