Job summary

S Knights Recruitment in Redditch, Worcestershire is seeking a motivated Outbound Sales Executive to generate new business by contacting businesses, promoting apprenticeship programmes and qualifying leads for the Business Development team.

The role involves high-volume phone outreach, building relationships with decision-makers and driving targets, with office-based work initially and hybrid options after induction.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience within outbound sales, telesales, B2B sales, lead generation or business development.
• Experience making outbound telephone calls and generating new customer or sales opportunities.
• Experience working towards measurable sales, call or activity targets.

Responsibilities

• Making high-volume outbound calls to prospective, existing and lapsed business clients.
• Introducing apprenticeship programmes to employers and creating interest in available training opportunities.
• Engaging with business contacts and decision-makers to understand their requirements and identify potential opportunities.
• Qualifying leads and providing Business Development Managers with accurate information for further follow-up.
• Following up leads generated through marketing campaigns and wider sales activity.
• Re-engaging previous clients to uncover new opportunities and support continued business growth.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records, including client conversations, follow-ups and sales opportunities.
• Achieving agreed individual call, sales and KPI targets while contributing to wider team objectives.
• Supporting ad-hoc outbound campaigns and maintaining knowledge of apprenticeship provision, funding and relevant sector developments.
