Halfords Autocentre in Kirkcaldy is offering an Apprentice Auto Technician position within our Autocentre network. You will gain hands-on experience across servicing, inspections, repairs and diagnostics, working on a variety of vehicles from simple parts to complex faults.

Successful candidates are curious, practical and keen to learn from mentors and college lecturers. The role includes day release at college and full training to become a skilled technician.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalents).
• Friendly, helpful and team‑oriented attitude.
• Interest in cars and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Learn workplace safety, engineering basics and vehicle inspection.
• Develop servicing, maintenance and diagnosis skills.
• Diagnose faults and repair to high standards.
