Job summary

Halfords Autocentres in Leven is offering an apprentice vehicle technician programme. You will learn diagnostics, servicing and repair tasks across various car makes, under guidance from mentors, while balancing college study.

The role is 40 hours per week with day-release to college, and includes extensive hands-on training, safety emphasis and progression toward technician status within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Friendly, helpful team player with strong desire to build a career as a vehicle technician.
• Able to listen to mentors and learn new skills daily.
• Interest in cars and solving problems; comfortable with manual work.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic methods and equipment.
• Gain knowledge from workplace safety to engine maintenance and servicing.
• Develop hands-on skills and contribute to day-to-day Autocentre tasks.
