Job summary

Halfords Autocentre offers an apprentice programme that covers servicing, inspections, repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of cars. You will learn alongside experienced technicians and college mentors to diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards.

The course includes a 5-day working week with one day at college, focusing on safety, engineering fundamentals, and practical fault finding. This is a real pathway into a career as a vehicle technician.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge and skills to become a competent technician.
• Apprentices will learn workplace safety and engineering foundations.
• Learn vehicle inspection, servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Work on a range of vehicles with modern diagnostic equipment.
