Job summary

Lookers Limited is recruiting for an Assistant Service Manager to support our Service Team in Stourbridge. You will guide Service Advisors, drive customer satisfaction, and work with the Aftersales leadership to achieve budgets and continuous improvement.

A strong communicator with confidence and a collaborative approach will thrive in this role. You must have experience in automotive service environments, excellent organisational skills, and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing service teams in automotive retail.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, training, and appraisals to Service Advisors to encourage a forward-thinking attitude.
• Maximise customer satisfaction by delivering an exceptional service experience.
• Liaise with the Aftersales Manager to monitor performance against budget and implement improvement plans.
• Organising invoicing for Service Advisors.
• Focussing on NPS calls, collecting customer feedback and driving resolutions with the team.
• Support your line manager with departmental forecasts and timely reporting.
• Collaborate with the Aftersales team to ensure smooth department operation.
