Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy automotive aftersales operation in Walton-on-Thames. You should have prior automotive customer-facing experience, strong administration and computer skills, and the right to work in the UK.

This full-time role (42 hours/week) includes a £32,000 base salary plus bonus potential; rota-based Saturday mornings on a rota, with a supportive team environment and opportunities to build long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor or similar automotive customer-facing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building ability
• Good administration skills with strong attention to detail
• Confident using computer-based systems
• Able to work independently and as part of an aftersales team
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Manage customer and workshop enquiries quickly and professionally
• Build strong customer relationships and manage expectations
• Process customer orders accurately and within required timescales
• Complete aftersales administration accurately and efficiently
• Support workshop vehicle health check processes
• Receive orders, process returns and assist with stock administration
• Answer customer calls and provide a high standard of customer service
• Previous Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor or similar automotive customer-facing experience
