Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is seeking an experienced Service Advisor in Cheltenham to join an established automotive dealership. You will be at the centre of the customer journey, coordinating with the workshop and keeping customers informed from booking through to collection.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a busy aftersales environment, strong communication skills and a proactive, organised approach. The role offers a clear path for progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
• Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Booking vehicles into the workshop and understanding exactly what the customer needs
• Preparing accurate job cards and ensuring correct information from the outset
• Liaising closely with Technicians, Workshop Controllers and the wider aftersales team
• Providing clear estimates and explaining recommended work clearly
• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair and servicing process
• Discussing additional work and obtaining customer authorisation where required
• Explaining technical information without jargon
• Advising on servicing, maintenance and future requirements
• Managing queries and resolving issues calmly and professionally
• Ensuring vehicles are ready for collection and handover is smooth
