Job summary

Grainger Motor Group is seeking a Service Advisor for Mazda/Nissan at Norton Way Mazda/Nissan. You will warmly welcome customers, manage their service journey and ensure accurate invoicing in a busy dealership.

Role requires driving license, strong communication, and IT skills; prior service-advisor experience is preferred. Hours are Mon-Fri, with 1 in 3 Saturdays, and a competitive salary with training and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Genuine passion for customer service and relationship-building.
• Experience selling or promoting additional services in a service environment.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and managing their service journey with a customer-first approach.
• Creating clear and accurate job cards and invoices, ensuring transparency at all times.
• Working with workshop controller, parts team and service manager to deliver high-quality service experiences.
• Updating vehicle details, service history and managing requests via 1Link to maintain accurate records.
• Liaising with leasing companies and retail customers to gain work approvals.
• Identifying upsell opportunities that benefit the customer and the department.
• Spotting areas for improvement to enhance service standards.
