Job summary

Grainger Motor Group in Cambridge is seeking a Service Advisor to join our Nissan/Cherry site on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll welcome customers and guide them through the service journey with a friendly, customer-first approach.

The role involves creating clear job cards and invoices, working with workshop and parts teams, updating records, and identifying upsell opportunities while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and ability to meet customer needs.
• Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and managing their service journey with a customer-first approach.
• Creating clear and accurate job cards and invoices, ensuring transparency.
• Working closely with the workshop controller, parts team, and service manager to deliver high-quality service experiences.
• Updating vehicle details and service history, and managing requests via relevant systems to maintain records.
• Liaising with leasing companies and retail customers to gain work approvals.
• Identifying upsell opportunities that benefit both the customer and the department.
• Spotting areas for improvement to continuously enhance service standards.
