Gates of Stevenage seeks an Experienced Service Advisor to manage service bookings, liaise with the workshop, and deliver exceptional customer care. You will handle inquiries, explain charges, and help grow service revenue through plans and accessories in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication, organisation, and a full UK driving licence are essential. Salary £31,000–£33,000 with OTE £36,000–£39,000 and benefits including pension, holidays, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in a customer facing role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• IT literate; experience using Keyloop Drive is an advantage.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Book in customer vehicles for servicing and manage work in progress with regular liaising to meet time frames.
• Build rapport with customers and provide outstanding care under pressure.
• Identify opportunities to improve service profitability and discuss with technicians as needed.
• Explain service charges and arrange/collect payments in person or by phone.
• Promote service plans and accessories to boost sales; bonus structure applies.
