Job summary

Reliance Garage (Ryedale) Ltd in York is seeking a professional Service Advisor to be the first point of contact for customers booking vehicles in for servicing, MOTs and repairs. You will welcome customers, manage bookings and liaise with the workshop team.

The role requires excellent communication, organisational and computer skills, with at least one year of service advisor or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in service advisor or customer service role.
• Must hold a valid UK manual driving licence.
• Live within commuting distance of the York dealership.
• Experience with Pinnacle DMS is advantageous; full training provided.

You will be the first point of contact for customers booking vehicles in for servicing, MOTs and repairs. Responsibilities include:

Welcoming customers and managing bookings

At least 1 year experience within a service advisor/customer service role

Keeping customers updated on their vehicle’s progress

Liaising with the workshop team

Explaining completed work and invoices

Promoting service plans and accessories

You will have excellent communication, organisational and computer skills, along with a smart and professional manner. Experience as a Service Advisor or with Pinnacle DMS would be advantageous, but full training can be provided.

Applicants must hold a valid UK manual driving licence and live within commuting distance of the dealership.

Hours: Monday to Friday, plus one Saturday morning in four.
