Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is helping a Swindon-based automotive workshop recruit an Automotive Service Advisor. The role focuses on answering calls, booking services, and keeping the service planners up to date while processing invoices and payments.

You will work in a customer-facing position with a team-focused environment, using Kerridge ADP and MS Office. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with salary up to £32,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers and staff.
• Background in the motor industry or workshop environment.
• Computer literate with MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Kerridge ADP is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls.
• Take service bookings to ensure the workshop is fully booked.
• Maintain vehicle service planners.
• Invoice and take cash payments.
• Update customers on vehicle repair progress.

Job Title – Automotive Service Advisor

Salary – up to £32000 per annum

Hours – Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

Location – Swindon

We are working with an established commercial vehicle workshop that are looking to add to their existing team with the addition of an Automotive Service Advisor.

Automotive Service Advisor job role

• The role will include answering telephone calls
• Taking service bookings to ensure the workshop is fully booked
• Maintaining the vehicle service planners
• Invoicing and taking cash payments
• Updating customers on vehicle repair progress.

The successful Automotive Service Advisor will have

• Work well as a member of a successful team
• Be comfortable talking to customers and have a background in the motor industry.
• A working knowledge of Kerridge ADP would be advantageous but is not crucial.
• Need to be computer literate and be comfortable with MS Office products.
