Job summary

Holt Recruitment is looking for an Automotive Service Advisor in Farnborough to join a busy workshop. You will handle customer calls, book servic es, and keep the service planners updated while supporting invoicing and cash handling processes.

The role requires solid customer interaction skills and an interest or background in the motor industry; Kerridge ADP experience is a plus but not essential. Walking distance to local transport is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Customer-oriented communication and a friendly telephone manner.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team with colleagues across departments.
• Background in the motor industry or a genuine interest in vehicle service.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and handle enquiries.
• Take service bookings to keep the workshop fully booked.
• Maintain and update the vehicle service planners.
• Invoice and receive cash payments for services rendered.
• Provide customers with updates on repair progress.

Automotive Service Advisor

Job Title - Automotive Service Advisor

Salary up to £34000 per annum

Hours Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

Location - Farnborough

We are working with an established commercial vehicle workshop that are looking to add to their existing team with the addition of an Automotive Service Advisor.

Automotive Service Advisor job role:

• The role will include answering telephone calls
• Taking service bookings to ensure the workshop is fully booked
• Maintaining the vehicle service planners
• Invoicing and taking cash payments
• Updating customers on vehicle repair progress.

The successful Automotive Service Advisor will have:

• Work well as a member of a successful team
• Be comfortable talking to customers and have a background in the motor industry.
• A working knowledge of Kerridge ADP would be advantageous but is not crucial.
• Need to be computer literate and be comfortable with MS Office products.
