Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Cross Hands is seeking a Vehicle Service Administrator to join a leading commercial vehicle dealer group. The role covers managing WIP, arranging documentation, and ensuring smooth workflow within a busy service department.

You will handle calls, prepare estimates and invoices, maintain service records, and liaise with technicians and customers. The position offers a 40-hour week, 28–30k salary, 25 days leave plus bank holidays and in-house training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or service support role within automotive or commercial vehicle sectors.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with IT systems and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Managing Work in Progress (WIP) to ensure seamless workflow
• Handling incoming calls and emails from customers and suppliers professionally
• Preparing job cards, service reports, estimates, and associated documentation
• Maintaining accurate service records and databases
• Raising purchase orders and preparing invoices
• Processing invoicing activities efficiently
• Liaising with technicians, customers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations
• Supporting the Workshop Manager with general administrative activities
