Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is recruiting an experienced Assistant Service Manager for a high-volume Cardiff dealership. You will support the Service Manager and lead a busy service team to maintain excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Key duties include overseeing service reception, managing bookings, maximising workshop utilisation, and delivering strong labour sales. You will also train staff and ensure high standards across the department in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager in a dealership.
• Experience in high-volume service operations and workshops.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a busy service department and report to the Service Manager.
• Oversee and motivate a large service team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure efficient operation of the service reception, including bookings.
• Maximise workshop utilisation and labour sales.
• Support and organise departmental processes and administration.
• Work on the front desk as needed and handle enquiries.
