Perfect Placement is seeking a Vehicle Service Administrator for their Cross Hands team in the UK. The role involves handling WIP, customer and supplier communications, preparing service documentation, and maintaining records to support smooth workshop operations.

With a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm) and benefits including pension, training and wellbeing support, this position offers a clear path within a growing dealer network across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or service support role within automotive or commercial vehicle sectors.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with IT systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure as the Service Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Managing Work in Progress (WIP) to ensure seamless workflow.
• Handling incoming calls and emails from customers and suppliers professionally.
• Preparing job cards, service reports, estimates, and associated documentation.
• Maintaining accurate service records and databases.
• Raising purchase orders and preparing invoices.
• Processing invoicing activities efficiently. Liaising with technicians, customers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Supporting the Workshop Manager with general administrative activities.
