Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD is seeking an experienced Sales Controller for an established automotive dealership in Reading. You will support the Sales team, manage customer enquiries, and drive performance in a target-driven environment.

Key duties include supervising day-to-day sales operations, coaching Sales Executives, ensuring accurate CRM records, lead management, pricing support, and delivering strong customer service throughout the sales process to maximise profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to motivate and support a sales team.
• Proactive and organised approach.
• Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good administration.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the Sales Department.
• Help the team achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor individual and departmental performance.
• Support and coach Sales Executives where required.
• Manage customer enquiries and progress sales opportunities.
• Ensure strong follow-up and lead management processes.
• Support vehicle pricing, appraisals and deal structures.
• Work closely with the Sales Manager on departmental performance.
• Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the sales process.
• Ensure CRM systems and customer records are kept up to date.
• Help drive additional products and services where appropriate.
