Job summary

ARM in the United Kingdom is seeking a Vehicle Diagnostic Author to join a collaborative team supporting a leading automotive OEM. Hybrid working is available, and the role focuses on creating clear, accurate diagnostic content and workflows that guide technicians through fault-finding and repair processes.

You will work with engineering teams and subject matter experts to gather, validate, and interpret technical information, ensuring all documentation is accurate and aligned with quality

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle diagnostics and creating technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering data.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support diagnosis of complex vehicle faults using symptoms, DTCs and data.
• Develop and author diagnostic workflows guiding fault-finding and repairs.
• Create, manage, review and publish diagnostic content for dealers and technicians.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather, validate and interpret information.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and aligns with quality standards.
• Contribute to diagnostic solution development, testing and validation.
• Work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
