Job summary

ARM is seeking an Automotive Service Communications Author to bridge engineering and the Aftersales dealer network. After launches, you will develop and author technical documentation with a focus on end consumers within the dealer network.

We publish for automotive, aerospace, rail and more; you will join a dynamic team valuing innovation, accuracy and clear communication, with hybrid onsite work and ample career progression.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive system knowledge and hands on experience.
• Attention to detail to produce high quality technical docs.
• Excellent English writing, spelling and punctuation.
• Excellent communication and professionalism with all levels.
• Able to manage multiple high profile projects in parallel.
• Presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proactive, flexible, able to work independently.
• Technical authoring competence or experience is advantageous.
• Experience with CAD, HTML, XML and authoring software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Information gathering to understand topics for documentation.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation to standards.
• Use illustrations, CAD and rendered graphics to enhance materials.
• Validate information through digital sign-off.
• Notify stakeholders and present as required.
• Update docs following engineering changes.
• Deliver on time against KPI and standards.
• Analyze vehicle data to support campaigns.
