ARM in Gaydon is seeking an Automotive Technical Author to convert hands-on vehicle knowledge into comprehensive technical publications for a leading automotive OEM. The role emphasizes creating manuals, diagnostics content, and illustrated parts catalogs for new vehicle programs.

Ideal candidates have hands-on vehicle experience and qualifications in related vehicle technician or engineering fields, with capability to work with 2D/3D content and eLearning modules.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Experience creating technical documentation or manuals.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D workshop manuals and process instructions.
• Develop 3D electrical information for diagnostics.
• Prepare text and illustrations for service communications.
• Produce 3D illustrated parts catalogues.
• Create 2D/3D eLearning modules.
• Author owners literature illustrations and descriptions.
