Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Continuous Improvement & Automation Lead within Learning & Development to drive operational excellence, streamline processes and identify automation opportunities that enhance the colleague learning experience. This hybrid role covers UK and US stakeholders, travel between sites is required, and a job requirement company car is included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading continuous improvement programmes.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
• Experience identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.
• Experience using data to drive decisions in Learning & Development or HR context.

Responsibilities

• Leading continuous improvement initiatives across Learning & Development.
• Identifying, designing and implementing process improvements that improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Driving the adoption of automation technologies and digital solutions.
• Using data and insights to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to support change initiatives.
• Establishing governance, metrics and reporting to measure improvement outcomes.
• Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the function.
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver sustainable improvements.
