ACS Automotive in Canterbury is seeking a proactive Service Advisor to join the busy service department. You’ll welcome customers, book servicing and repairs, and explain work required while keeping clients informed from start to finish.

You’ll need motor trade experience and strong communication skills, with attention to detail and a friendly, practical approach. The role offers full training, a competitive salary and a monthly performance bonus, with alternate Saturday mornings paid.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and booking vehicles in for servicing and repairs.
• Listening to customer concerns and passing clear information to the workshop.
• Providing estimates, explaining recommended work and gaining authorisation.
• Keeping customers updated on progress and collection times.
• Working closely with technicians and the parts department to keep jobs moving.
• Preparing invoices and explaining completed work when customers collect their vehicles.
