Job summary

Kream Motor Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor to join a main dealer in Barnstaple. You will be the first point of contact for Aftersales customers, welcoming them professionally and handling bookings for servicing, maintenance and warranty work.

The role emphasises excellent customer service, clear communication, and accurate administration. A preference for candidates with direct Service Advisor experience and a proactive, 'hit-the-ground-running' attitude.

Qualifications

• Proven customer-facing experience in an automotive service environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to upsell and explain service options to customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle Aftersales bookings via face-to-face, phone, and online channels.
• Coordinate with workshop and service teams to ensure smooth throughput of work.
• Keep customers informed about progress and any additional required work.
• Present and upsell approved products and services.
• Complete all related administration including invoicing and data entry.
