Job summary

RSM UK offers a 12-month paid placement in external audit as part of a sandwich degree. You will work alongside current trainees and experienced audit professionals to gain practical experience.

You will perform real client work, benefit from on-the-job training and access internal training courses to develop throughout the year. If you perform well, there could be a place on graduate training programmes after you finish your degree.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled on a placement degree and eligible to work in the UK.
• 112 UCAS points across three A levels or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate.
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

• Assist audit teams with client work under supervision.
• Support reviews of financial records, processes and controls.
