Job summary

RSM UK is offering a 12-month paid placement in External Audit as part of your sandwich degree. You’ll work alongside trainees and audit professionals on real client engagements, with on-the-job training and access to internal courses.

Starting 14 September 2027, you’ll develop practical audit skills, contribute to risk-focused reviews, and have the opportunity to join graduate training programmes after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled on a placement degree.
• Be eligible to work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-focused reviews of clients' financial records, processes and controls.
• Work with a variety of clients from owner-managed to large listed groups and not-for-profits.
• Develop through on-the-job training and internal courses.
