Job summary

RSM UK is offering a 12-month paid placement in External Audit as part of a sandwich degree. You will gain practical experience alongside trainees and audit professionals, performing real client work and receiving on-the-job training.

You could progress to graduate training programmes after completion, with opportunities to work on varied clients, including charities and not-for-profit organisations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent) or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Enrolled on a placement degree.
• Existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication to convey complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-focused reviews of clients' financial records, processes and controls.
• Work with a variety of clients from owner-managed businesses to large groups and not-for-profit organisations.
• Support on-the-job training and participate in client work from day one.
