Job summary

RSM UK offers a 12-month paid placement in External Audit as part of a sandwich degree, delivering practical experience alongside current trainees and experienced professionals.

You’ll work on real client engagements, receive on-the-job training and access internal courses to develop throughout the year. Start date is 14 September 2027, with potential progression to graduate training after the degree is completed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification).
• 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Be enrolled on a placement degree.
• Right to live and work in the UK for this role.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to audit engagements under supervision.
• Gain practical experience working alongside trainees and audit professionals.
• Participate in client work and on-the-job training.
• Support the team with risk-focused reviews of financial records and controls.
