Job summary

RSM UK is offering a 12-month paid placement in External Audit as part of a sandwich degree. You will work with current trainees and experienced audit professionals, performing real client work and benefiting from on-the-job training and internal courses.

Starting 14 September 2027, the role involves risk-focused reviews of financial records and access to development opportunities that could lead to graduate programmes after graduation.

Qualifications

• UCAS points thresholds are specified for entry.
• Candidate must be enrolled on a placement degree.
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
• Strong written and verbal communication to convey complex information.
• Ability to analyse data and solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records and controls.
• Work with diverse clients from owner-managed to large listed groups and not-for-profit entities.
• Participate in on-the-job training and internal development courses.

Education

UCAS points requirement (112 across three A levels or 104 across four Highers/Leaving Cert)
