Job summary

RSM UK invites applications for a 12-month paid placement in External Audit as part of your sandwich degree. You will work alongside current trainees and experienced audit professionals, gaining practical client exposure and on-the-job training throughout the year.

There could be a place on graduate training programmes after you finish your degree. You’ll join a busy audit team, conduct risk-focused reviews, and support colleagues across varied clients while developing your professional skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent).
• Be enrolled on a placement degree.
• Right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
• Start date: 14 September 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-focused reviews of clients' financial records, processes and controls.
• Assist on client work quickly, then take on project responsibilities.
• Support audit teams across a variety of clients, from smaller businesses to larger groups.
