A leading accountancy firm in Bournemouth seeks an Audit Associate. The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA student with audit experience, responsible for statutory audits, client engagement, and trainee supervision. We are looking for talented individuals to join the Bournemouth office as an Audit Associate within our Audit Team, the successful candidate is expected to be in their 2nd or 3rd year of ACA/ACCA study with solid technical skills.
As an Associate, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to deliver statutory audit and other assurance engagements to our clients. You will work as part of a team to deliver our uniquely personal and proactive service, upholding the highest standards in client service.
The role provides the opportunity for someone who has commenced their career in the profession to join an organisation and team with a great work-life balance and a genuine interest and focus on you and your career. You will gain experience on large and complex clients in a fast-growing office, creating genuine opportunities for career progression. A full training contract and study support will be provided.
The Audit Team within the Bournemouth office comprises circa 35 members of staff, from audit trainees up Partners. The team work with all partners within the office, and firmwide, on a variety of tasks including audits, statutory accounts preparation and ad-hoc client queries.
There is a real focus on development within the team, with the aim being for staff to develop their careers long term within the firm. Alongside a commitment to client service, and excellence in their work, there is a willingness to help each other and succeed as a team.
We offer accounting, audit and assurance, business advisory, tax and VAT services, acting for businesses and individuals both in the UK and internationally. The portfolio of clients held within the office range from AIM listed clients, large corporate groups to landed estates, with key specialisms in owner managed businesses, property, private wealth and professional practices. Our staff work regularly and closely with their colleagues in our national offices to provide a seamless service to clients, wherever they are located.
