JD Gyms Bradford is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily club operations under the General Manager. You will lead teams, uphold brand standards and deliver outstanding member experiences.

You will drive membership growth, manage coaches and support staff, ensure safety and cleanliness, and help achieve financial targets while fostering a positive, engaging environment for colleagues and members.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing colleagues in leisure, fitness or customer-focused environments.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent member service and leadership support.
• Experience driving membership growth and achieving business objectives.
• Experience coordinating local marketing and recruiting/managing teams.
• Experience delivering operational, people leadership and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to cover daily operations.
• Maintain Health and Safety policies and JD Gyms Brand Standards.
• Drive membership growth and achieve revenue and commercial targets.
• Ensure cleanliness and high standards across the gym facilities.
• Oversee banking processes and maximise profit through waste minimisation.
• Hold regular team meetings and provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Represent JD Gyms values in all member and colleague interactions.
