You'll play a key role in sourcing, executing, and managing direct credit investments, supporting our Private Credit portfolio strategy across Europe and beyond.

The Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join our Private Credit team, focusing on Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending. You'll use your analytical skills and commercial acumen to identify and assess investment opportunities, lead due diligence, and manage a growing portfolio of real estate-backed loans. You'll collaborate with senior colleagues, mentor junior staff, and work closely with internal and external partners to deliver excellent outcomes for the Fund.

You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Identify, source, and assess new direct credit opportunities in the European CRE debt market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, borrowers, corporates, advisors, and investment banks.
  • Lead due diligence and credit assessment for prospective investments, including financial modelling and credit ratings.
  • Prepare credit papers and recommendations for investment committees.
  • Review term sheets and legal documentation.
  • Manage ongoing asset management of loans, including performance reviews, waiver requests, and valuation processes.
  • Support the strategic growth of the Private Credit portfolio by exploring new markets and segments.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

  • Excellent written communication skills (Word/PowerPoint).
  • Experience in transaction work stream management and asset management of loans.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
  • Vision for broader portfolio goals and strong mentoring skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications; CFA or MBA highly regarded.
