Job summary

WSP seeks an Associate or Associate Director to join our Resilient Infrastructure team in London. You will lead environmental contributions on major transport projects, directing recruitment, bidding and project delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will champion innovative approaches such as Digital EIA and ensure quality, safety and sustainability across complex multi-disciplinary work.

Qualifications

• Relevant environmental or planning degree (or equivalent experience), with chartered status or actively working towards chartership.
• Experience delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for aviation schemes.
• Understanding of transport planning regimes and consent processes.
• Strong report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and bids.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental contributions across project designs and assessments.
• Direct and manage recruitment, bidding, and project delivery activities.
• Maintain client relationships and support business development.
• Drive innovation through Digital EIA and Technical Excellence.
