Job Role: Institutional Account Manager

You’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team of passionate professionals whose performance is critical to Coinbase achieving its mission. You will serve as a subject matter expert for Coinbase’s institutional suite of products, providing world-class service and support to our most valued institutional clients. Diligent, customer-focused, and with a bias towards action, you will play a crucial role in the success of the Sales, Trading, and Prime organization as we help build the crypto economy.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting high-priority clients and working on initiatives to deliver excellent client experience as an Associate Account Manager.
  • Partnering with Senior Account Managers and Management to support large, complex relationships across client segments including market makers, wholesale, asset managers, and corporates.
  • Understanding complex, multi-product client workflows and strategies to ensure effective integration and utilization of our product suite, focusing on trading and custody across the Exchange and Prime.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Trading, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to onboard clients and support across our product suite.
  • Providing an exceptional client experience through stakeholder management, prioritization, and efficient execution.
  • Managing client escalations promptly and effectively, with clear communication to AM Leadership and root cause analysis.
  • Distilling client feedback to internal teams, including Operations, Engineering, and Product, especially regarding bugs, incidents, or product requests.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on influencing outcomes.
  • Ability to build trusted, lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of risks across key functions and workflows to identify issues and concerns.
  • Organized, independent working style to manage your client portfolio effectively.
Nice to haves:
  • Experience and knowledge in Digital Assets.
  • Prior Prime Brokerage experience.
  • Experience in Account or Relationship Management.
  • Fluency in French, German, Italian, or Spanish.
