Grantley Hall is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to uphold our commitment to world-class hospitality on a five-star, 17th-century estate in North Yorkshire. You will support the Restaurant Manager across five restaurants and three bars, ensuring flawless service and adherence to luxury standards.

You will lead a diverse front-of-house team, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with kitchen, spa and gym teams to deliver bespoke guest experiences while maintaining the highest

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations across five restaurants and three bars, ensuring seamless service and adherence to luxury standards.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of front‑of‑house staff, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement and high morale.
• Monitor guest feedback and service metrics, implementing corrective actions to maintain the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, spa and gym teams to deliver integrated guest experiences that reflect the hotel’s bespoke offerings.
• Manage inventory, ordering and cost control while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• Support recruitment, training and development programmes, encouraging curiosity and professional growth among team members.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury restaurant or hotel environment.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on accountability, collaboration and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of listening to ideas, providing clear direction and maintaining transparent dialogue.
• Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including cost management, health and safety regulations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑standards setting while balancing operational demands with staff wellbeing.
