A healthcare institution in the UK is seeking an Audiology Assistant to support patients with hearing loss. Responsibilities include supervising the work of the Assistant Technical Audiologists and assisting in the hearing aid repair service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience working with hearing aids. Knowledge of the Auditbase system and experience with Oticon and Phonak software is desirable. This role offers flexible working arrangements to accommodate personal needs.
You will be part of a dedicated team who offer support to patients with hearing loss, balance problems and tinnitus. You will work within this team and the wider organisation to ensure patients receive the best possible outcomes. The successful applicant will supervise the work of the Assistant Technical Audiologists. Co‑ordinate stock orders and requirements. Run autonomous repair clinics.

We are looking for a reliable individual with excellent communication skills, at ease working with adults with a hearing loss, their family and carers. You will be working independently, as part of the Adult Audiology team, to deliver a friendly, yet professional aftercare service to patients with hearing aids. Ideally you will have worked within an Audiology department and have previous experience of working with hearing aids and people with a hearing loss. Whilst training will be given, knowledge of the Auditbase system is desirable as well as Oticon and Phonak software.
