Seasalt is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Bourton-on-the-Water team on a 32 hour permanent contract. You will support the Store Manager in delivering excellent customer service and driving store performance.

You will lead by example, coach the team, and help with recruitment. The role involves upselling, omni-channel initiatives, stock management, and ensuring standards across merchandising, safety, and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team at supervisor level or above, preferably in retail.
• Track record of achieving KPI targets and driving store performance.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Store Manager in creating a service culture that puts the customer first.
• Enable the team to upsell and participate in omni-channel selling, data gathering, and add-on purchases.
• Support the Store Manager with recruitment and building a diverse, passionate team.
• Be a role model, driving store sales, profitability and KPI achievement.
• Coach and develop the team through regular 121s and development plans.
• Communicate store performance to the team and stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Implement visual merchandising standards and use product data to maximise opportunities.
• Manage stock, loss prevention, escalation, health and safety, GDPR and cash handling.
• Act as key-holder and run the store when needed.
