Assistant Store Manager

We are a leading menswear retailer and have stores/concessions across the UK – we have been operating for over 75 years.

The business is expanding further, and we are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join the team for our menswear store based within Metrocentre, Unit 21 Lower Platinum Mall, St Michaels Way, Gateshead, NE11 9YG.

This is a superb opportunity to join a well‑established yet ever‑growing company, in a managerial position.

Dynamic individuals are sought and will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager manage the store and team, help organise staff rotas, sales and customer service, merchandising stock, plus use of till and card machine.

Salary / Benefits:

We offer a competitive basic salary -

  • £26,000 basic, OTE £28.5k which includes excellent bonus and commission.
  • Commission scheme is payable on team sales, not an individual target.
  • 28 days holiday.

Hours:

  • 40 hours per week between store opening times.
